While not really a check list this page was created as a
reference from which to base a postage estimate on. You can
always call of course if you are not sure how to estimate
but we have included a few tips. The USPS offers a work sharing
discount when you drop your mail off at different types of
distribution centers. The most common we work with are the
SCF and the DDU. If we are entering your mail at the St. Louis
post office (18th & Market) you will receive the SCF rate
for all mail where the zip codes begin with the following 3
digits - 620, 622, 630, 631, 633. The DDU rate is only available for flat sized
mail
for zip codes within a carrier route mailing that are serviced
by the post office where the mailing is deposited (ex. Ballwin
has 63011 and 63021). Each rate level
for postcards and letters has a 150 piece minimum except for
the Mixed AADC level. For flats the minimum is 125 pieces
or 15 lbs.
